PYRONYL 525 OIL
Pyronyl 525 Oil, manufactured by Zoecon, is a pyrethrin-based insecticide used to control flies and other flying insects in livestock quarters, corrals, feedlots and meat and poultry plants.
Because it's made from pyrethrins, it is safer to use than most pesticides and is versatile in its use. Pyronyl 525 Oil 2.5GAL can be applied as an indoor space spray, contact spray, surface spray or thermal fogging application.
Tools Needed
It can be used as a ULV or thermal fogging spray, a contact spray using a hand-pump sprayer or input in an automatic misting system.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Pyronyl 525 Oil to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). To treat turf and grass apply 0.25 to 0.5 of Pyronyl 525 Oil per 2.5 to 5.0 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank and let the pumps agitate the mixture before spraying.
- Step 3: Spray the product on the desired surface or program your automatic misting system to conduct spraying as usual.
Where to Use
Pyronyl Crop Spray can be applied to the following listed crops: root and tuber vegetables, leaves of root and tuber vegetables, bulb vegetables, leafy vegetables, brassica cole leafy vegetables, legume vegetables, leaves of legume vegetables, fruiting vegetables, cucurbit vegetables, oriental vegetables, citrus fruits, pome fruits, stone fruits, small fruits and berries, subtropical vegetables, tree nuts, cereal grains, (forage, fodder, and straw) of cereal grains, nongrass animal feed, herbs, spices, additional crops, and ornamentals.
It may also be used for barns, milking parlors, milk rooms, dairies, poultry houses, stored grain and seed, storage sites, cattle, horses, sheep, goats, and hogs.
When to Use
Use when there is an infestation of insects in a sensitive area like around crops and livestock, a kitchen, restaurant, food processing plant or other area where toxic chemicals are discouraged.
Safety Information
Pyronyl 525 Oil is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Keep children and pets away from treated areas until the product has dried.
Special Considerations
