Spraying Pyronyl

Pyronyl 525 Oil is manufactured by Zoecon and is a pyrethrin based insecticide used to control flies and other flying insects in livestock quarters, corrals, feedlots and meat and poultry plants. Because it's made from pyrethrins, it is safer to use than most pesticides and is versatile in its use. Pyronyl 525 Oil 2.5GAL can be applied as an indoor space spray, contact spray, surface spray or thermal fogging application.

Tools Needed

Pyronyl 525 Oil can be used as a ULV or thermal fogging spray, a contact spray using a hand-pump sprayer or input in an automatic misting system.

How to Use

  • Step 1: In the spray equipment of your choosing, mix a portion of Pyronyl 525 Oil with fresh water. Application rates will be found on the insecticide label. The rate you use depends on the equipment you are using and the area to be treated. Check the label for detailed application instructions for each method.
  • Step 2: Mix well and spray the product on the desired surface or program your automatic misting system to conduct a spraying as usual.

Where to Use

Pyronyl Crop Spray can be used indoors as a space spray, directly onto cattle to keep away horn flies, gnats and mosquitoes wherever there is a flying insect problem that needs to be addressed. You can safely use it as a space spray or contact spray in residences, hotels, schools, food processing plants, animal shelters, and plenty of other places. Check the label for the complete list.

When to Use

Use Pyronyl 525 Oil when there is an infestation of insects in a sensitive area like around crops and livestock, a kitchen, restaurant, food processing plant or other area where toxic chemicals are discouraged.

Safety Information

Pyronyl 525 Oil is safe to use when applied following the label directions. Please use the proper PPE when applying the product to areas and keep children and pets away from treated areas until the product has dried.

Remember that it is the law that you read the whole label including instructions, precautions, and warnings before using or applying this product and remember that it is mandatory that you wear the appropriate personal protective equipment stated on the label.
