Pyrethrin Fogger

Pyrethrin Fogger, manufactured by FMC Technologies, is a fast-acting, contact total release aerosol insecticide that delivers complete knockdown of flying and crawling pests indoors.

This total-release aerosol fogger is formulated with natural pyrethrins, which are botanical insecticides derived from chrysanthemum flowers, combined with synthetic synergists that enhance insecticidal power. Once activated, it produces an ultra-fine aerosol mist that fills the space, killing pests such as cockroaches, fleas, silverfish, and more on contact and disrupting their nervous systems for quick, effective control.

Pyrethrin Fogger is a powerful and professional bug bomb that easily permeates every corner of a room, reaching cracks, crevices, behind furniture, and under appliances, areas that sprays or baits can’t easily reach. Within minutes, insects are paralyzed and killed, making it the perfect “clean sweep” product for heavy infestations or preventive treatments.

How to Use

• Step 1: Before using, open cabinets and doors to allow fog to reach all areas to be treated. Shut off fans, air conditioners, pilot lights, flames, gas valves, and any ignition sources. Call your gas utility or management company if you need assistance with your pilot lights. Close windows and doors to confine the fog. Use one 5 oz. unit for a 25 by 25 ft room with an 8 ft ceiling. Do not use more than one fogger per room.
• Step 2: Place the fogger upright on a surface in the center of the room. Press the valve button firmly down and lock it to start automatic discharge. Immediately vacate the area. Attach a warning tag on entry doors to alert other occupants not to enter for 2 hours.
• Step 3: Leave the building closed for 2 hours while the fog dispenses. After this time, open all doors and windows to air out the space thoroughly and allow to air out for at least 30 minutes.
• Step 4: Repeat fogging in two weeks or as needed to control infestation.

Designed exclusively for indoor use, Pyrethrin Fogger can be employed in food and non-food areas of homes, food processing plants, restaurants, industrial buildings, schools, warehouses, offices, theaters, garages, hotels, motels, hospitals, and kennels.

Use when insect activity is observed or suspected indoors. 

Safety Information

Pyrethrin Fogger is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product. 

Do not enter or allow others to enter until vapors, mists, and aerosols have dispersed, and the treated area has been thoroughly ventilated. Wait two hours after application, then open windows, vents and doors for two hours. If an odor is still detected additional ventilation is required.

Special Considerations

DO NOT use in small enclosed spaces such as closets, cabinets or under counters or tables. Use of a fogger in an enclosed space may cause the product to explode, resulting in injury to people or damage to property.
