Protecta LP Bait Station
Protecta LP Bait Station
The Protecta LP Bait Station is a triangular shaped, rat-size bait station that can conveniently fit into wall corners and flush along walls where rodents frequent. It's a "low profile" station and is small enough to fit in tight spaces. Dimensions: 3 3/8" tall by 9" deep. You will receive one key for every 6 stations purchased.
The Protecta LP Rodent Bait Station is a great station to use to house your rodenticides. The LP stands for “low profile” and this station is made out of a heavy-duty plastic making it last for years and years and comes with a two-prong key for locking and securing the installed bait which will keep your kids and pets safe from getting into the bait and tampering with the station.
Tools Needed
The Protecta LP bait station is easy to set up and use. All that is needed aside from the station itself is your choice of rodenticide bait blocks.
How to Use
- Step 1: First unlock the bait station with the accompanying two pronged key at one of the two unlock positions. Place the key into the slots and pull back and the box will open.
- Step 2:Once opened, you will see that there is a bait tray as well as a bait hook. Simply push bait blocks onto the removable bait hook and then you can snap the hook back into place. Then close the box until you hear a snap letting you know it is securely shut.
- Step 3: The Protecta LP Rodent Bait Station has two large holes for rats or smaller creatures including insects. You can place the box horizontally and vertically against any walls but not at a corner because this will block one of the holes.
- Step 4: For the control of rats, place stations approximately 25' apart. For the control of mice, place rodent stations 15' apart. When placing the Protecta LP Rodent Bait Station, you’re going to want to place it horizontally and flush against the wall, making sure it doesn’t block an entrance or an exit. You can also place it vertically.
Where to Use
The Protecta LP Bait Station is small enough to be conveniently fit into tight baiting places under pallets, in cupboards or behind appliances. You can also use outdoors along the exterior walls of a structural foundation.
When to Use
Use bait stations whenever there is high rodent activity. Bait stations should always be used when deciding to bait or trap rodents outdoors for protecting non-intended targets.
Safety Information
This tamper-resistant bait station is safe to use around pets and children because it automatically locks when closed, protecting the bait from children and non-target animals. The RTU station comes with a key which quickly unlocks the device, reducing the time it takes to reapply bait. Make sure to wear protective safety gloves when handling rodenticide baits.
Special Considerations
Make sure to wear protective safety gloves when handling rodenticide baits.
