PT Pro-Control Formula 2 Fogger

PT Pro-Control Formula 2 Fogger, manufactured by BASF, is a pyrethrin-based total-release aerosol insecticide that delivers a quick knockdown and kill of crawling and flying insects.

This easy-to-use bug fogger can be used indoors to treat unobstructed areas measuring 25' by 25' by 8' ceilings and to kill pests such as cockroaches or ants within 5,000 sq. ft. of treated areas.

PT Pro-Control Formula 2 Fogger contains two active ingredients with a synergist for maximum pest elimination. The active ingredients pyrethrins 0.5% and piperonyl butoxide 4.0% both target the insect's central nervous system, causing paralysis and death. The second active ingredient, piperonyl butoxide, also enhances the product's effectiveness in improving results on targeted pests.

How to Use

• Step 1: Inspect and identify the pest you want to treat and take note of the active areas where they are found or are hiding. Cover or remove all exposed food and drinking water in the treatment area before application. You will also need to cover all food preparation surfaces and utensils in the treatment area. 
• Step 2: Open cabinets, cupboards, drawers, closets, and doors in areas to be treated. Close all windows and doors. Place a chair, table, or stand in the middle of the room to be fogged. Shake the PT Pro-Control Formula 2 Fogger before using. Tilt can AWAY from the face (container sprays straight up). Press tab down in a locked position to initiate the application. Do not apply more than 1 time per day.
• Step 3: Set PT Pro-Control Formula 2 Fogger on a stand and immediately leave the treatment area for at least 2 hours. The product will disperse and come into contact with as many insects as possible. Once 2 hours have passed since the first application, you will need to ventilate the treated area by opening windows, vents, and doors for 2 hours. If an odor is still detected, additional ventilation is required. 

Where to Use

Use PT Pro-Control Fogger Formula 2 to control crawling and flying insects in apartments, campgrounds, food storage areas, homes, hospitals, hotels, motels, nursing homes, resorts, restaurants, and other food handling establishments, schools, supermarkets, transportation equipment (buses, boats, ships, trains, trucks, and aircraft cargo areas), utilities, warehouses, and other commercial and industrial buildings.

PT Pro-Control Fogger Formula 2 should be used when you want to safely treat an area for flying and crawling insects before it gets out of control.

Safety Information

PT Pro-Control Fogger Formula 2 is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product.

Do not allow others to enter treated areas until sprays have dried and treated areas have been thoroughly ventilated.

Use extra caution when using total-release foggers. Do not place them in small areas or rooms smaller than 5 ft. by 5 ft. The product is extremely flammable; turn off ALL ignition sources, such as pilot lights, other open flames, or running electrical appliances, like refrigerators, thermostats, etc.

Special Considerations

DO NOT use more than one PT Pro-Control Formula 2 Fogger per room.

Remove pets and birds, cover and turn off fishing aquariums before spraying, and turn off aquarium air flow systems.
