To use Select Phite Fertilizer, you will need a backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or a spray rig.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Select Phite Fertilizer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For warm-seasoned grasses, apply 6-8 oz. of Select Phite Fertilizer per 1,000 sq. ft. For cool-seasoned grasses, apply 4-6 oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. For ornamental plants and trees, use 12-24 oz. of product per 100 gallons of water or 1/8 to 1/4 oz. of product per gallon of water. For fruits, nuts, and vine crops, apply 2 to 4 quarts of product per 100 gallons of water.
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Select Phite Fertilizer, then add the remaining half of water. Secure the tank lid and agitate until the product is mixed.
• Step 3: Spray the mixed Select Phite Fertilizer until the top and bottom of foliage leaves to the point of runoff. Apply at 2-3 week intervals and repeat as needed. Do not apply at intervals less than 3 days for ornamental plants and trees. Repeat every 7-14 days during times of stress for turf. Repeat applications as needed in accordance to crop requirements.

Select Phite Fertilizer can be used on warm and cool-seasoned turf, ornamental plants, trees, fruits, nuts, and vine crops.

When to Use

Use Select Phite Fertilizer during times of stress on turf or at the time of germination, sprigging, or laying of sod. Treat all other foliage when they are well-established.

Do not apply if heavy rainfall is expected.
