Prentox Perm-X 1E is an insecticide concentrate that serves as a general treatment of a broad range of insects thanks to the powerful active ingredient Permethrin 13.3%.

Prentox can control indoor and outdoor pests and can even be spraed onto dogs to treat for ticks. We recommend a 1-gallon sprayer for easy applications. This product can be mixed with an insect growth regular (IGR) or a synergist (PBO or Piperonyl Butoxide) for greater results.

Tools Needed

To apply Prentox Perm-X 1E, you will need either a hand pump sprayer or backpack sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Measure the square footage (length x width) of the area you wish to treat to determine how much Prentox Perm-X 1E you will need. The typical rate for treating in and around the home and yard is a 0.25% emulsion of concentrate which is 2.66 oz. to 1 gallon of water to cover 1,000 sq. ft. A finished gallon can also treat 1,580 linear feet with a 6 inch spray band.
• Step 2: Pour half of the amount of water into the spray tank and then measure out the amount of Prentox Perm-X 1E needed. Add the rest of the water into the spray tank, then mix or agitate.
• Step 3: Apply the solution to the desired areas in a fine/coarse low-pressure nozzle setting and wait for the treated areas to dry before entering. Repeat treatment in 7 to 14 days if infestation continues.

Prentox Perm-X 1E is to be used in non-food areas indoors and outside premises of hotels, motels, preschools, nurseries, day camps, greenhouses, lathhouses, seed houses, food handling establishments, packaging and processing plants, commercial, industrial, office, instritutional and storage buildings, dairies, milk storage rooms, egg processing plants, supermarkets, restaurants, bottling plants, canneries flour and feed mills, bakeries and hospitals. Nonfood areas are areas such as garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains, entries and vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets and storage. In hospitals, patients should be removed prior to treatment. Also for use in campers, mobile homes, buses, automobiles, trucks, boxcars. Also for use in dog kennels and horse stables.

When to Use

Use Prentox Perm-X 1E when treating for an insect infestation in or around your home. Permethrin SFR is also a great product to use as a preventative perimeter treatment in keeping pests out of homes and building structures as it leaves an effective residual barrier.

Safety Information

Prentox Perm-X 1E is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) during all mixing and application processes. Make sure all treated areas are completely dry before entering.
