Prentox Emulsifiable Spray Concentrate #96 can be applied with a mechanical or compressed air equipment (non-thermal), or ULV application equipment.

For oil dilutions, a deodorized petroleum oil is recommended.

How to Use

• Step 1: Foods should be removed or covered before treatment. All food processing surfaces should be covered during treatment or thoroughly cleaned before using. Remove any birds, pets, or fish aquaria before spraying. Determine how much Prentox Emulsifiable Spray Concentrate #96 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). As a surface spray, dilute at a rate of 1 part Prentox Emulsifiable Spray Concentrate #96 and 4 parts water or oil. For use in edible product areas of federally inspected meat and poultry plants and for normal infestations, dilute 1 part concentrate and 9 parts water or oil. For ULV applications, use dilute 1 part concentrate to 1 to 9 parts water or oil. Then, apply the dilutions at a rate of from 1 to 10 oz. of product per 1,000 cubic feet of space. For use on livestock, dilute 1 part concentrate and 9 parts water and apply one quart per adult animal. On the listed ornamentals and vegetables, apply 1.2 to 3.6 oz. of product in 10 gallons of water. Refer to the label as application rates will vary.
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with the half amount of water, add the calculated amount of Prentox Emulsifiable Spray Concentrate #96, then pour in the remaining half of water. Agitate the sprayer until the solution is well-mixed.
• Step 3: Deliver a coarse spray pattern of the Prentox Emulsifiable Spray Concentrate #96 until wet. Direct the spray into hiding places, cracks and crevices, under pallets, around containers of stored foods, around the bases of machinery, behind shelves, and drawers. If surface application only is to be used, spray floors, walls and other surfaces. Applications to livestock will focus on the legs, flanks, barrel, topline and other body areas commonly attacked by the pest. Apply as a fine mist or fog onto ornamentals and vegetables. Repeat treatment at intervals of 5 to 12 days for small insect populations or as needed when flies are emerging in large numbers.

This product can only be used on home vegetable gardens, and not other crop sites.

When to Use

Apply Prentox Emulsifiable Spray Concentrate #96 when buildings are vacant, foliage is showing signs of pest injury, and other pest activities are beginning to occur.
