Posterity XT Fungicide

Posterity XT Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is an advanced curative and preventative fungicide that combines three active ingredients to provide up to 28 days of protection against more than 20 turf diseases, making it a valuable tool for turf management professionals.

This triple-action formula delivers broad-spectrum control of major turfgrass diseases with strong preventive, systemic, and curative activity. It is particularly effective against dollar spot and spring dead spot, providing consistent and robust control that enhances turf quality.

With its systemic movement and long-lasting residual, Posterity XT protects turf with a single application, helping reduce the number of fungicide sprays needed throughout the season.

Tools Needed

It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Posterity XT Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, apply 65.3 to 130.7 fl. oz. of Posterity XT Fungicide per 2 to 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the spray tank and shake until the solution is well mixed.
• Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of the turf leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. After application, irrigate with 1/8” to 1/4” of water. Make a second application 28 days after the first.

Where to Use

Posterity XT Fungicide can be used on golf course turfgrass.

Do not spray where spray drift may reach apple, crabapple, or flowering cherry trees. This product is extremely phytotoxic to certain apple varieties.

When to Use

Apply before or during active infestations on days when rainfall is not expected to occur within the next 48 hours after application. 

Apply after mowing or allow the sprayed area to completely dry before mowing.

Safety Information

Posterity XT Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Do not allow people or pets to enter the treated area until the spray completely dries. 

Special Considerations

Do not make more than two sequential applications for control of Gray Leaf Spot. 

For all other diseases, do not make more than three sequential applications.
