Posterity Fungicide
Posterity Fungicide is an advanced, long-lasting curative, and preventative fungicide that controls the most stubborn turf diseases.
Posterity Fungicide, manufactured by Syngenta, is an industry-leading suspended concentrate fungicide that provides powerful and reliable control of key turf diseases for up to 28 days.
It's active ingredient, pydiflumetofen, belongs to FRAC Group 7 and delivers unmatched residual control of dollar spot, along with additional protection against other difficult turf diseases. One of Posterity’s biggest strengths is its long residual control. A single application can provide 21 to 28 days of strong, preventive protection, even in high-disease-pressure environments.
Posterity Fungicide is one of the most effective systemic fungicides that save labor and product costs while ensuring consistent turf health in golf course turf. Its mode of action, persistence, and systemic activity make it a top performer for golf course managers.
Tools Needed
This product can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Posterity Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the disease, apply 0.8 to 0.32 fl. oz. of Posterity Fungicide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For acreage, use 3.5 to 14.0 fl. oz. of product 30 to 175 gallons of water per acre. Do not make more than 2 applications at the maximum application rate per year.
- Step 2: Fill your spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves until wet, but not the point of runoff. If needed, a second application can be made when 28 days have passed since the first treatment.
Where to Use
Posterity Fungicide is only for golf course turfgrasses.
