Pivot Ultra Plus is made by Control Solutions and is an effective aerosol insecticide for controlling flea and tick infestations, along with other common pests like cockroaches and spiders. It is formulated as both an insect pest adulticide and an insect growth regulator (IGR) to provide dual modes of action.

Pivot Ultra Plus aerosol delivers a quick knockdown and kill of adult and larval fleas, while its IGR will prevent eggs from hatching, disrupting the pest's life cycle. A single application of Pivot Ultra can deliver up to 3 months of control.

Pivot Ultra Plus can be used indoors as a broadcast spray application to carpets, upholstered furniture, pet bedding, and as a spot, crack and crevice spray outdoors.

Tools Needed

Pivot Ultra Plus comes ready to use with no other tools necessary for its application. It is recommended that you wear the proper personal protective equipment when applying.

How to Use

• Step 1: For broadcast treatments, first measure the square footage of your treatment area. You can do this by measuring the area's length and width in feet, and then multiplying them together (length x width = square feet). For flea treatments, use Pivot Ultra Plus at a rate of 15 oz. per 1,965 sq. ft.
• Step 2: Shake the can well and broadcast spray, applying in a sweeping motion about 2 feet from the floor. You want to apply quickly, at a speed of about 1 foot per second. An area of 80 to 100 sq. ft. can be treated in about 10 seconds. Apply a fine mist evenly over the area; do not spray to the point of wet or saturation. When treating upholstered furniture, also treat under cushions, folds, and along seams.
  For spot spraying other pests indoors and outdoors, apply in quick 1 second bursts holding the can about 2 feet away from the treated surface. Spray insect pests directly or where they congregate such as along baseboards, around doors and windows, under and/or behind sinks and appliances, or in the back of cabinets or shelving.
• Step 3: Vacate the area after application, keeping all people and pets away from the area until dry and vapors have dispersed. Re-application may be necessary after 14 days for heavier infestations.

Where to Use

Pivot Ultra Plus can be used in and on buildings and structures such as homes, apartments, hotels, offices, stores, warehouses, schools, nursing homes, hospitals, industrial buildings, vessels, rail cars, trucks, trailers, and aircraft (excluding cabins).

When to Use

Use Pivot Ultra Plus when you are dealing with a flea, tick, or other listed pest infestations. For best results, apply on calm days when wind speeds are low to minimize drift. If there is occasional breeze, spray with the wind to better target approved application spots. When treating for fleas, it may be necessary to do a follow up application after 14 days.

Safety Information

Before applying this product, please make sure to have on the proper PPE for safety (long sleeved clothing, gloves, face mask, goggles). After application, keep out of the area until the product has dried.

Special Considerations

While this product may address indoor fleas and ticks, it doesn't address fleas on your pets. You cannot spray this on your pets and should instead use Petcor Flea Spray or Flee Trigger Spray.
