PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide, manufactured by Drexel, is a liquid formulation that has outstanding control on most annual grasses and certain broadleaf weeds as they germinate.
The active ingredient pandimethalin 37.4 % whose mode of action prevents the roots and shoots of the targeted weed from growing.
PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide has excellent crop safety on over 100 + ornamental grasses, shrubs, and trees and can be used on warm and cool season turf as well as crops and noncropland applications.
Tools Needed
To use PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide, you will need to mix the product into a sprayer of your choosing such as a hose-end sprayer, a pump sprayer, a backpack sprayer, or a professional spray rig for a large volume.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet and then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take your square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acre). For control in ornamental applications use 1.8 to 3.6 ounces of PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide per 1 to 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For more specific rates and restrictions please refer to the product label.
- Step 2: Fill your selected sprayer tank with half the required amount of water and then add the measured amount of PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide. Fill the sprayer the rest of the way with the remaining water. Close the sp[rayer and sake until well mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the targeted weed with the PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide mixture, making sure to get even coverage via a fan spray setting. Check back after 5 to 8 weeks and reapply as necessary for continued suppression.
Where to Use
Use PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide on turfgrasses, ornamentals, landscapes or grounds patience, nonbearing fruit and nut crops and vineyards, and noncropland.
Do not apply this product in greenhouses, shadehouses, or other enclosed structures.
When to Use
Use PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide during spring before weeds have a chance to germinate.
Safety Information
PIN-DEE 3.3 T & O Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Keep people and pet out of the treatment area for 24 hours after spraying.
Do not treat plants grown for food or feed. Do not use treated plants for food or feed.
Special Considerations
Do not use PIN-DEE T & O Herbicide on newly planted turfgrass until it has been mowed at least times.
Before treating a large number of plants with this product, spray a few plants and observe for plant damage prior to full-scale application.
