Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide
Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide is a broad-spectrum, copper-based disease control solution that prevents and suppresses bacterial and fungal pathogens on bedding plants, flower crops, and nursery drops, delivering fast, reliable protection with proven performance.
01/10/26
Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide, manufactured by Phyton, is a trusted systemic bactericide and fungicide that controls a wide range of plant pathogenic bacteria and fungi for an impressive range of crops from annual bedding plants and potted flowering crops to tropical foliage, cut flowers, and nursery stock.
Bacterial and fungal diseases don’t wait for your schedule, and once they gain momentum, they can spread rapidly through benches, irrigation lines, and even your hands. What makes Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide unique is its copper-based formulation that delivers strong disease suppression while remaining gentle on plant tissue when used as directed. Unlike older copper products that could be harsh or phytotoxic, this product is engineered for modern ornamental production, where plant appearance and stress management are just as important as disease control.
Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide is best known as a preventive and early-intervention tool helping professional growers stay ahead of bacterial and fungal outbreaks before they spiral out of control. Its broad-spectrum control of bacterial and fungal diseases, proven copper technology, and flexibility across greenhouse, field, landscape, and interior environments make it a reliable choice for protecting valuable ornamental crops.
Tools Needed
It can be applied with any type of application equipment that gives uniform coverage of all foliage, including ground, aerial, and low-volume sprayers and chemigation equipment.
To make dip applications, you will need a clean container or tank large enough to fully submerge the plant material, measuring tools for accurately mixing the product, protective gloves and eyewear for safety, and stirring equipment or a stick to ensure the solution is evenly mixed before dipping cuttings, plugs, liners, bulbs, or other plant materials.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For foliar spray applications, apply 15 to 50 fl. oz. of Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide per 100 gallons of water, adjusting the rate based on the severity and type of disease being treated. Depending on the disease for potted flowering plants, cut flower crops, tropical foliage crops, or herbaceous and woody stock plants and cuttings, use 13 to 50 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray for thorough foliage coverage. When harvesting cuttings on site, spray or fog stock plants 1 to 2 days prior to taking cuttings. Spray cuttings to drench again at the same rate 2 to 3 days after sticking in rooting media, or dip cuttings for a few seconds prior to sticking.
Where to Use
Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide can be used for greenhouse, field, landscape, and interior: annual and perennial bedding plants, potted flowering crops, tropical foliage, cut flower crops, and nursery crops.
When to Use
Apply before the disease is present or when first witnessed on foliage.

| Keith's Pro Tip | "To prevent issues when using Phyton 27 Bactericide Fungicide, always check product labels before tank mixing, avoid combining it with strongly acidic compounds like Aliette, and maintain a 14-day interval before or after applications of such products. Keeping a simple spray log to record all treatments and dates can help ensure you don’t accidentally overlap incompatible products." |
