How to Use

• Step 1: Determine nutrient levels in ornamentals and what type of equipment to use then base your applications on that. With watering cans, apply either 1 tsp. of Peters Excel 15-5-15 Cal Mag Special with Black Iron with 1 gallon of water to deliver 194 ppm N. To deliver 291 ppm N with a watering can, use 1 tbsp with 2 gallons of water. For a 372 ppm N rate with a watering can application, apply 1 cup of product in 25 gallons of water. For more specific application rates refer to the product label.
• Step 2: To mix in a watering can and sprayer, fill it with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Peters Excel 15-5-15 Cal Mag Special with Black Iron, then add the remaining half of water. Agitate the watering can thoroughly to mix the product. To mix for an injection system, then perform the previous steps in a separate tank mix container then pour it into injection system as instructed in its manual.
• Step 3: Spray the Peters Excel 15-5-15 Cal Mag Special with Black Iron mixture until the top and bottom of plant leaves are covered, but not to the point of runoff.
