PermaCap CS
PermaCap CS is an advanced microencapsulated permethrin spray insecticide that delivers 30 to 60 day residual control, effectively killing over 50 pests indoors and outdoors.
11/04/25
PermaCap CS, manufactured by BASF, is a high-performance microencapsulated insecticide concentrate that delivers fast knockdown and long-lasting residual control of 30 to 60 days in one powerful application against a wide range of pests.
It is formulated with capsule suspension (CS) technology. This means tiny capsules of permethrin are suspended in liquid and adhere to surfaces then release the active ingredient slowly over time. The result? Weeks of control even after application. This is a huge win for pest professionals and homeowners alike, as it reduces the need for frequent reapplication and increases efficacy, especially in high-traffic or outdoor areas.
PermaCap CS is an effective broad-spectrum insecticide that combines fast results, long-term protection, broad-spectrum efficacy, and indoor/outdoor versatility all while being easy to use and gentle on surfaces. Whether you're protecting a home, farm, warehouse, or kennel, PermaCap CS delivers the control you need.
Tools Needed
Apply with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, spray rig, or truck-mounted sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much PermaCap CS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). When treating indoor residential sites, use the 0.5% dilution. To achieve the 0.5% dilution, mix 2 2/3 fl. oz. of PermaCap CS with 1 gallon of water. For outdoor perimeter treatments, use 2 2/3 fl. oz. of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed.
- Step 3: To make a perimeter application, spray 3 feet up the structure and 6 to 10 feet wide around the building. Apply as a spot or crack and crevice treatment to other insect entry points such as doors, windows, under siding, and eaves of the structure.
- Step 4: Repeat as necessary, but not more than twice per week. Treatments must be at least 3 days apart.
