How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Pennington Ultragreen Crabgrass Preventer Plus Fertilizer 30-0-4 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them to gether (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the turf type, apply 1.5 to 6 pounds of Pennington Ultragreen Crabgrass Preventer Plus Fertilizer 30-0-4 per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Adjust the spreader to the proper calibration, then load the proper amount of product.
- Step 3: Spread the product evenly across your lawn while walking at a steady pace to ensure full coverage. After application, irrigate the treatment area with 0.5 inch of rainfall or irrigation, or with shallow (1-2 inches) incorporation.
