Pegasus 6L Fungicide
Pegasus 6L Fungicide
Pegasus 6L Fungicide is an excellent contact fungicide that prevents a broad-spectrum of diseases on non-residential turf and ornamental plants.
Pegasus 6L Fungicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is a effective liquid concentrate fungicide that prevents a wide range of plant diseases while also reducing disease resistance to commonly used fungicides.
With the active ingredient chlorothalonil 54.0%, this product will work to prevent diseases such as swiss needlecast, brown patch, and leaf spots before they appear.
Pegasus 6L Fungicide is a easy to use contact fungicide on turf and ornamentals that stops harmful pathogens from harming these foliages within 7-14 days of application. Not to be confused for its granular form Pegasus DFX, which offers easy handling and minimum dust residue on treated foliage.
Tools Needed
To apply Pegasus 6L Fungicide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, spray rig, chemigation system, or aircraft application equipment.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Pegasus 6L Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For ornamental plants, use 1.75 pints of product per 100 gallons of water. Refer to the label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Pegasus 6L Fungicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank and shake until solution is well-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray all plant parts that are intended to be protected from disease to the point of wet, but not runoff. Do not mow or irrigate after treatment until spray deposit on turfgrass is thoroughly dry. Reapply as instructed on the label for the area you have treated.
Where to Use
Use Pegasus 6L Fungicide on conifers, turfgrasses, and ornamentals (in greenhouses and outdoors).
Do not use on home lawns and turf sites associated with apartment buildings, daycare centers, playgrounds, playfields, recreational park athletic fields, athletic fields located on or next to schools (i.e., elementary, middle and high schools), campgrounds, churches and theme park
