Ovation SC Miticide, manufactured by Everris, is a reliable systemic miticide that allows quick mite control in greenhouses, nurseries, and ornamental plants during their early stages. This results in effective population control before mites can mature and reproduce.

Ovation SC Miticide is a specialized suspension concentrate designed for effective mite management on commercial ornamental plants. For enhanced efficacy, especially in situations with mixed mite populations, this product can be tank-mixed with adult miticides. This flexibility allows for a comprehensive approach to mite control.

It can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Ovation SC Miticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For high-volume sprays, apply 2 fl. oz. of Ovation SC Miticide per 100 gallons of water. For low and ultra-low volume applications, apply 4-8 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water per acre. Applications, irrespective of delivery method, should not exceed 8 fl. oz. per acre per application.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of product, then pour in the proper amount of water, and pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the entire ornamental foliage, including the top and bottom of leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Apply only once per each crop cycle in greenhouse and saran and shade house culture. For outdoor ornamentals, Ovation SC application is recommended once per each crop cycle occurring within a year.
Where to Use
Ovation SC Miticide can be used on ornamental plants (including, but not limited to, conifers and non-bearing trees and vines, carnations, chrysanthemums, dieffenbachia, geraniums, impatiens, hydrangeas, potentillas, scheffleras, and roses), in greenhouses, saran and shade houses, outdoor container, and field-grown nursery stock.
Not For Residential Use.
When to Use
Apply at the first sign of mite activity and egg laying.

Ovation SC Miticide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Keep people and pets out of the treated area until 24 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
This product is magenta in color and may leave a residue on light-colored flowers or foliage.
