Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer
Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer
Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer, manufactured by ICL Specialty Fertilizer, is a premium granule fertilizer that slowly delivers the right amount of nutrients to commercial grown plants to produce essential new growth.
Contains a 14% nitrogen, 14% phosphate, and 14% soluble potash ratio for new plant growth, producing more and deeper colored flowers, leaves, and stems. Additionally, this product also promotes vigorous foliage growth to better resist disease and cold weather activity.
Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer is an effective controlled release fertilizer designed to safely deliver bigger, and greener greenhouse and nursery crops with one application.
Tools Needed
Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer can be applied with either a handheld spreader or measuring utensil (not intended for cooking or food reuse purposes).
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the plant container sizes and how many there are in the treatment area will vary in application rates so it would be best to refer to the product label. To treat 539 common container size measuring 6 in. Aza/HB (1.5 qt. in volume), use either 3, 7, or 11 grams of Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer per cubic yard of container. For larger containers that are 10 gallons with a 17" diameter and a surface area of 1.4 sq. ft., apply either 55, 133, or 204 grams of product. For landscapes, apply 7.0 lbs. of product per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Calibrate your handheld spreader to the proper ratio. Once calibrated, load the measured amount of Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer.
- Step 3: Spread the required amount of Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer across the top layer of soil until evenly coated. After application, light water the treated area. Make sure granules are not against plant stem.
Where to Use
Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer can be applied to the soil in covered greenhouses, nurseries, landscape beds, container gardens, interiorscapes, plant containers, and landscapes.
Do not apply product to plant stems.
When to Use
Apply Osmocote 14-14-14 (3-4M) Fertilizer to dry soil of established plants during the spring, summer, fall, and winter.
Avoid applications when ground is covered in snow and when plants are dormant.
