Micromax Micronutrients
Micromax Micronutrients
Micromax Micronutrients, manufactured by ICL Speciality Fertilizer, is a unique granular fertilizer that maximizes sulfated elements in soil for supreme plant bloomage and growth while also preventing uneven micronutrient release.
With the use of this product, the essential micronutrients enhances the absorption of nutrients in the root zone of container grown plants or landscape plants.
Micromax Micronutrients is a cost-efficient fertilizer that provides uniform distribution of granules across plants to aid in general nursery and greenhouse production.
Tools Needed
To use Micromax Micronutrients, you will need a handheld spreader, push spreader, or broadcast spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Micromax Micronutrients to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For landscapes, apply 1 to 2 lbs. of Micromax Micronutrients per 1,000 sq. ft. as a broadcast application. To treat standard 6 inch container sizes (that hold 1.75 quart) use 1 lb. of product per cubic yard. Depending on the plant container the application rates will vary so it would be best to refer to the product label.
- Step 2: Adjust the spreader to the proper calibration. Load the needed amount of Micromax Micronutrients into the spreader.
- Step 3: Broadcast Micromax Micronutrient granules as uniformly as possible and irrigate immediately after application to wash off foliage and dissolve granules.
Where to Use
Apply Micromax Micronutrients to the surface of containers or broadcast in landscapes of growing media.
When to Use
Use Micromax Micronutrients when soil is dry and when you need to promote vigorous, balanced plant growth for increased nursery stock and greenhouse production.
Safety Information
Micromax Micronutrients is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
May cause staining if left on cement or other porous surfaces.
Special Considerations
When upshifting to larger containers application rate of Micromax Micronutrients applies only to incremental growing media used.
