NyGuard EZ1
NyGuard EZ1
NyGuard EZ1 is manufactured by MGK and is an insect growth regulator concentrate that can make a significant dent to insect population or can potentially completely eliminate problem pests by interfering with the reproductive cycle. NyGuard EZ1 IGR Concentrate stops the insect (fleas, ticks, roaches etc.) life cycle and inhibits the development of the immature stages of the insect eggs and larvae for 7 months preventing them from reaching the adult stage. NyGuard EZ1 is the easiest way to mix and use NyGuard IGR. NyGuard EZ1 comes in pre-measured 1 oz. bottles for easy mixing. NyGuard EZ1 is fast-acting and highly recommended to out of control insect infestations.
Tools Needed
To use NyGuard EZ1, you will need to mix the product in a hand pump sprayer.
How to Use
Step 1: Simply mix 1 bottle with 1 gallon of water in a sprayer, and apply according to label directions to help control the reproductive cycle of nuisance pests such as cockroaches, fleas, mosquitoes, ants and flies. You could also mix with an adulticide to create a double whammy and address adults, eggs and larvae.
Step 2: Repeat as needed every 6-7 months for continued control.
Where to Use
NyGuard EZ1 is reduced risk and can be used in food and non-food handling areas such as restaurants and kitchens. NyGuard is also photostable in sunlight and can be used outdoors to control fleas in yards.
When To Use
Use NyGuard EZ1 when you have encountered insect infestations indoors. It is also best to apply NyGuard EZ1 before flea season to prevent infestations.
Safety Information
NyGuard EZ1 is pet and child safe once dry. Read entire label before using chemical. To be on the safe side, wear the necessary PPE before mixing and spraying.
Special Considerations
If adult fleas are currently present an adulticide such as Reclaim IT or D-Fense SC should be added to quickly control the adult fleas. NyGuard EZ1 will not typically stain surfaces but a test application should be made before complete coverage of an area.
