Nu-Film 17 Spreader Sticker, manufactured by Miller, is an excellent sticking-extending adjuvant designed to length the life of foliar-applied insecticide and fungicides.
This easy to use product forms an adhesive, elastic film on the surface of the crop foliage that holds the pesticide in and prevents wash off due to rainfall, irrigation, or wind.
Nu-Film 17 Spreader Sticker is an easy to use adjuvant with non-ionic properties that provides improve coverage and penetration into the foliage without damages from common elements, including ultra-violet radiation.
Tools Needed
Nu-Film 17 Spreader Sticker may be applied with aircraft application equipment, hose-end sprayers, backpack sprayers, handheld pump sprayers, or spray rigs. A separate purchase of an herbicide, pesticide, or fungicide will need to be made.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Nu-Film 17 Spreader Sticker to use by examining your pesticide, herbicide, or fungicide label and measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To extend the activity and increase the efficiency of insecticidal and fungicidal sprays on all crops use 1 pint of Nu-Film 17 Spreader Sticker per acre. For hydraulic gun or air blast tree sprayers, used for spray applications to shade, fruit and nut trees, apply 6 to 8 ozs. of product per 100 gallons of water. For dilute citrus sprays, where the total spray volume is 1,000 to 1,500 gallons per acre, use 2 pints of product per 500 gallons of spray mix. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
