NP-271 Cup Leather (Part Number 220288000), manufactured by B&G Equipment Company, is specifically sold as a replacement for B&G sprayers.

This leather cup is an important part of the pump assembly. It helps the sprayer generate air pressure while spraying.

If damaged, the tank will lose spraying pressure, so it's important to replace it regularly.

Tools Needed

To use this part, you will need the appropriate B&G Sprayer to replace the part and possibly a pair of pliers or a crescent wrench if the parts are tightly secured.

How to Use

• Step 1: Remove the pump assembly from the sprayer tank and begin to disassemble it. The repair manual instructions provide details on how to do this precisely.
• Step 2: After disassembling the assembly, remove the pump rod and the old poly cup from the end of the rod. Two half-inch nuts will need to be pryed off to remove the spreader plate and the old plastic cup, and then you place the new leather cup on top.
• Step 3:Tighten the bolts, put your B&G Sprayer back together, and you are back in business.

Where to Use

The leather cup is meant to be used only as a replacement on a B&G handpump sprayer, such as the N124 and similar models. It can also fit other models.

When to Use

Replace the cup when it is damaged, or you are experiencing a dip in spray pressure quality. How often this part is changed depends on how often you use the sprayer. If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quickly. Typically, we suggest changing it out annually at a minimum.
