Hot Shot No Pest Strips

Hot Shot No Pest Strips, manufactured by Spectra Brands, is a ready-to-use insecticide that delivers continuous protection in unoccupied spaces from pests such as gnats, moths, and silverfish. 

This product contains the active ingredient dichlorvos, which delivers a controlled-release technology that slowly releases an effective vapor that penetrates areas where insects hide to effectively kill and control infestations.

Hot Shot No Pest Strips are odorless and remain effective for up to 4 months. If you want continuous protection against flying and crawling pests like ants, roaches, and flies, They will not disappoint.

You will need gloves to handle and apply Hot Shot No Pest Strips.

How to Use

• Step 1: Before you use Hot Shot No Pest Strips, measure the cubic feet of the area you want to treat. You can do this by measuring the length, width, and height of the area, then multiplying these numbers together (length x width x height = cubic feet). One 65 gram strip will treat up to 900 to 1200 cubic feet.
• Step 2: Remove the pre-assembled Hot Shot No Pest Strip from the sealed bag and place in the desired location away from windows and out of reach of children and pests.
• Step 3: Record the date of installation so that the old strip may be replaced with a new, fresh, full-strength strip at the end of the four (4) month period or when effectiveness diminishes.

Where to Use

Hot Shot No Pest Strips are ideal for use in enclosed areas where people or pets will not occupy the space for long periods of time. They can be used such as garbage rooms, lavatories, floor drains (to sewers), entries and vestibules, areas of office buildings occupied for less than 4 hours per day, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, utility equipment, garages, mop closets, and product storage (after canning or bottling).

Also for use in boathouses, or enclosed areas thereof, occupied by people for less than 4 hours per day. Also for use in the following unoccupied structures, provided they are unoccupied for more than 4 months immediately following placement of a pest strip: vacation homes, cabins, mobile homes, boats, farm houses, and ranch houses.

It's important to note that Hot Shot Pro Strips is only for use in unoccupied areas; not for use in homes except garages, attics, crawl spaces, and sheds occupied by people for less than 4 hours per day.

When to Use

This product can be used any time targeted pests, such as flies, mosquitoes, gnats, and others are in enclosed areas.

Safety Information

Hot Shot No Pest Strips are safe to use when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when handling and applying this product. 

Hang strips in areas where animals and children cannot reach or access the strips. 

Special Considerations

Do not open or remove it from the package before it is ready to use. Never place unused products down any indoor or outdoor drain.
