NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent
NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent is an effective, all-natural repellent that safely repels gophers, chipmunks, and ground squirrels using a powerful dual-action scent and taste formula that creates a long-lasting, rain-resistant underground barrier.
01/10/26
NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent, manufactured by Nature's Mace, is an eco-friendly, granular repellent that prevents serious above and below-ground turf and ornamental damage from gophers, chipmunks, and ground squirrels through natural sensory irritation, keeping landscapes protected for 30 days.
It is formulated with botanical oils and organic compounds that penetrate deep into the soil to create a long-lasting underground scent barrier that repels burrowing pests. This weather-resistant repellent will also target the pests nervous system with natural sensory irritants that disrupt their comfort zone and drive them to relocate. The combination of scent and taste deterrents ensures that pests not only leave the treated area, but don’t come back.
NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent is a professional strength granular repellent that delivers fast, long-lasting results that protect turf and landscapes from burrowing pests while keeping people, pets, and the environment safe. Wherever burrowing pests are causing damage, this product offers a professional-grade solution that fits seamlessly into integrated pest management (IPM) programs.
Tools Needed
You will need a handheld spreader, push spreader, or broadcast spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). One pound of NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent covers 625 square feet, while the full 22-pound bag covers up to 13,700 square feet.
- Step 2: Adjust the spreader to the proper calibration, then load the proper amount of granules.
- Step 3: Spread NM Professional Gopher Granular Repellent over the entire area of the lawn where pest damage occurred. Spread it 30 feet around or beyond these sites. Water the treated area for approximately 20 minutes. Immediately after application, go to visibly damaged beds and plantings and apply a second, more targeted covering with the product in a 24" wide band around them, then water for 20 minutes.
- Step 4: After locating the mounds (both open or plugged), apply a small handful (3 oz. or 1/8 of a scoop) of product into each mound. Access tunnels by opening plugged mounds. Refill with soil.
- Step 5: After 14 days, repeat application methods as mentioned in step 1.
- Step 6: Retreat every 30 days as needed.
