Nimitz Pro G Nematicide
Nimitz Pro G Nematicide is a versatile and fast-acting nematicide that controls nematodes and protects turfgrasses from damage.
04/21/26
Nimitz Pro G Nematicide, manufactured by Quali-Pro, is used to control nematodes and protect against turfgrass damage.
This product acts quickly thanks to its main active ingredient, fluensulfone. Target nematodes are killed within 24-72 hours, while the drug does not affect or harm non-target species.
Nimitz Pro G Nematicide delivers a higher level of nematode control within a single application than other nematicides on the market. Not to mention, there is no enhanced microbial degradation, meaning beneficial microbes, fungi, or bacteria will not be harmed.
Tools Needed
You need to apply it in a spreader. A push spreader is recommended for large areas, while a drop spreader assures the most accurate application of the product.
How to Use

- Step 1: Determine how much Nimitz Pro G Nematicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, you will need to measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet, then multiply them together (length x width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acreage). Nimitz Pro G Nematicide should be applied at a rate of 60-120 lbs per acre. For smaller areas, this product can be used at a rate of 1.38 to 2.75 lb per 1,000 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Load the proper amount of Nimitz Pro G Nematicide in your spreader based on your area calculations. Push the spreader over the treatment area, minimizing overlap as much as possible to ensure the turf receives the correct rate of product.
- Step 3: After applying the granules to the entire area, properly rinse the treated area immediately afterward with 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch of water.
Where to Use
Nimitz Pro G Nematicide can be used on a variety of soils and turfgrasses. It can be used on golf course greens, tee boxes, fairways, sports fields, commercial turfgrass, residential lawns, and sod farms.
When to Use
Apply when you are dealing with nematodes on your lawn. Avoid applying Nimitz if heavy rains are expected within 24 hours of application.
Safety Information
Nimitz Pro G Nematicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when applying this product.
