Tools Needed
To apply Transchem Muriatic Acid, you will need to mix the product in an open-plastic top container. Then apply it with a plastic bristle scrub brush.
How to Use
- Step 1: Remove all surface oil, grease and dirt before using Transchem Muriatic Acid. Apply 1/2 pint of Transchem Muriatic Acid per gallon of water to brighten concrete and masonry surfaces. To etch concrete, use 1 pint of product per gallon of water.
- Step 2: Mix the Transchem Muriatic Acid solution in an open-plastic top container. Add the proper amount of water into the container first then slowly pour in the measured amount of Transchem Muriatic Acid. Stir the water and product gently together until mixed. Stir only with plastic or bare wood.
- Step 3: Apply the Transchem Muriatic Acid mixture to the exterior brick layer then allow it to remain on treated surfaces for 5 minutes. After this time has passed, water it off with plenty of water. Allow surface to dry.
