Mural Fungicide is a broad-spectrum, systemic fungicide made to control various fungal diseases found on ornamental plants, green houses, nurseries and vegetable crops.

This water dispersable granule product contains two active ingredients, azoxystrobin 30% and benzovindiflupyr 15%, which works to eliminate diseases such as leaf blight while also strengthing treated plants to prevent these diseases from returning.

As a systemic fungicide, Mural Fungicide will slowly move from the plants leaves to its roots for better and longer protection within 7 to 21 days.

Tools Needed

To use Mural Fungicide you will need either a hose end sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig. For small household jobs, we recommend a handheld 1-gallon pump sprayer or a hose end sprayer.

How to Use

Spray Mural Action Fungicide

  • Step 1: Determine the plant type afflicted by the disease before applying Mural Fungicide to ensure no foliar damages occur. Determine how much Mural Fungicide to use by calculating the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply (length X width = square footage). To find acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 = acre). Foliar diseases on ornamentals, will use 2 to 3.5 oz. of Mural Fungicide per 50 gallons of water every 7 to 21 days. For ornamental crops grown outdoors and indoors, do not exceed 9.5 oz of product per acre (1.1 oz/5,000 sq ft) in a single application and 28 oz of product per acre (3.2 oz/5,000 sq ft) per year. Vegetable plants grown for resale to consumers, use 0.6 to 0.8 oz. of product per 50 gallons of water per 5,000 sq. ft. every 7 to 10 days. For plants grown indoors or outdoor for resale to consumers, do not make more than 2 applications per crop. Where multiple crops are grown in the same area, do not exceed 28 oz. of product per acre (3.2 oz./5,000 sq. ft.) per year. Refer to the label for specific application rates and intervals.
  • Step 2: Mix Mural Fungicide into a sprayer of your choice. Fill your sprayer with half the amount of required water, add measured amount of Mural Fungicide, then pour remaining half of water into the spray tank. Continously agitate the tank until solution is well-mixed and throughout application.
  • Step 3: Spray the mixed solution onto the leaf of the plant, placing the sprayer on a fan spray setting for even coverage. This fungicide can be applied as a foliar spray, direct spray to stem, or drenched. Wait until 48 hours have passed after application before irrigating treated areas. Retreat labeled plants as specified according to the product label instructions.
