Monterey Mosquito Control RTS
Monterey Mosquito Control RTS is a convenient insecticide that kills plant-damaging and biting pests within residential trees, lawns, and shrubs.
Monterey Mosquito Control RTS, manufactured by Monterey, is a powerful bifenthrin-based ready to spray insecticide that manages current and future pest populations.
Crafted with the active ingredient bifenthrin 0.3%, which provide effective solutions against indoor and outdoor pests like fleas and earwigs.
Monterey Mosquito Control RTS is a economical and high quality ready to spray insecticide that maintains a pest-free lawn, home, and vegetable garden. As an effective repellent, this product will create a 6 week residual outdoors.
Tools Needed
To apply Monterey Mosquito Control RTS, you will need a secure garden hose to connect it too.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Monterey Mosquito Control RTS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For lawns, use 6 fl. oz. of Monterey Mosquito Control RTS per 500 sq. ft. with dial-type sprayers. To treat lawns with a non-dial type hose-end sprayer, use 1.5 fl. oz. per 1 gallon of water. Refer the label for specific rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Set the dial type sprayer to 1.5 fl. oz then add the proper amount of Monterey Mosquito Control RTS. Do not add water. Attach hose to the sprayer. For non-dial type hose end sprayers, add the proper amount of product to the sprayer jar. Fill jar with water to the 1 gallon mark. Attach jar to sprayer head and shake well. Attach sprayer to the hose, turn on water, and spray.
- Step 3: Outdoors, thoroughly wet down grass a few hours before application when making lawn applications. Spray evenly over the measured area, treating the entire lawn. To keep insects/pests from entering the house, spray a 2 foot band of soil around the house next to the foundation. Also spray the foundation of the house to a height of 2 feet.
Where to Use
Monterey Mosquito Control RTS can be used indoors and outdoors.
Outdoors, it may be applied to lawns, trees, shrubs, roses, home vegetable gardens, melons, fruit trees, ornamentals, and around house foundations.
