Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 RTS

Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 RTS, manufactured by Monterey, is an effective ready-to-spray liquid fertilizer that prevents and addresses iron and other micronutrient deficiencies to improve the overall health of plants. 

This broad-spectrum iron supplement fertilizer provides a balanced mix of nutrients, including iron, potassium, and nitrogen, which work together to ensure healthy trees, shrubs, and vegetables. Iron prevents chlorosis and maintains green leaves, while potassium helps enhance root growth and stress tolerance—the small amount of nitrogen aids in general plant vigor and leaf development.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 RTS to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiplying them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on how often you wish to apply, the rates will vary. For once a month, use 2 tbs. of Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 RTS per 1 gallon of water. For twice a month, use 1 tbs. of product per 1 gallon of water. For each watering, apply 1 tsp. of product per 1 gallon of water. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Connect the bottle to your garden hose. Ensure the water hose is turned off before connecting it. Ensure the sprayer is set to the off position while connecting the hose.
• Step 3: Once the hose is connected and the water is flowing, ensure thorough coverage of the treatment area. Spray the top and bottom of leaves until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Do not water for at least 24 hours to avoid washing off fertilizer. 

Where to Use

Monterey Iron Combo RTS 1-0-2 RTS can be applied to ornamentals, fruits, vegetables, lawns, gardens, trees, and shrubs.  

When to Use

Apply foliar applications early in the morning or late evening. Turf treatments only apply when it is actively growing. 

Do not apply if heavy rain is expected.

Monterey Iron Combo 1-0-2 RTS is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Keep out of reach of children and pets. 

Special Considerations

Adding more than the recommended rate may burn plants. Do not use spraying devices that have been used with herbicides unless thoroughly cleaned.
