Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus RTS, manufactured by Monterey, is a easy ready-to-use insecticide, fungicide, and miticide that simplifies outdoor pest control on fruits, houseplants, and turfgrass from a broad-spectrum of pests and diseases.

Tools Needed

To use Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus RTS, you will need a garden hose to attach it too. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Mix Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus RTS at the rate of 2 tablespoons (1 fl. oz.) per gallon of water for all application sites. Before you start, the blue top water flow valve should be in the “OFF” position, and the red product flow valve should be in the up, “OFF” position. Shake container well and attach it to your garden hose.
• Step 2: Turn on the water from the faucet. To apply, remove side pin (labeled “PULL OUT”) and rotate red product flow valve to “ON”; then while holding sprayer at waist level and pointing in a direction away from face and body, push blue water flow valve forward to activate water.
• Step 3: When you are finished spraying or if you have to stop spraying at any time, press blue water flow valve with thumb to the rear to shut off water and return side red valve to the upright “OFF” position and replace side pin.
• Step 4: Turn off the water at the faucet when you are done applying. Remove the container from the garden hose; then rinse thoroughly and store according to storage instructions.

Where to Use

Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus RTS can be used on outdoor residential fruits, nuts, vegetables, herbs, spices, roses, houseplants, flowers, shrubs and turfgrass. 

When to Use

Apply Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus RTS at first sign of pests and diseases or before fungal activity is present. Most effective when applications are done in the early morning or late afternoon. 

Do not apply when temperatures are less than 45 degrees Fahrenheit or when plants are wilted, stressed, or newly transplanted. 

Avoid applications when rainfall is expected for the next 24 hours after application.

Special Considerations

Do not apply Monterey Fruit Tree Spray Plus RTS to known spray sensitive plant species such as: impatiens flowers, fuchsia flowers, hibiscus flowers, some rose flowers, ornamental olive trees, red maples, some carnation varieties or similar plants without prior testing.
