MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide

MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide, manufactured by Bioworks, delivers fast knockdown and preventative control naturally against various diseases on terrestrial and indoor ornamental plants, greenhouses, and agricultural crops.

This OMRI fungicide contains the active ingredient potassium bicarbonate, a naturally occurring compound that disrupts fungal cell walls, effectively killing spores and halting disease spread. To further enhance disease resistance, MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide alters the pH levels on the leaf surface, causing the disease to collapse and die. 

MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide is a broad-spectrum preventative and curative contact fungicide that is safe to spray on listed crops at any stage. This makes it extremely flexible, even for harvest-time applications when most conventional fungicides can't be used.

Tools Needed

It can be applied with a thermal fogger, electrostatic sprayer, backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general small applications, apply 2 Tbsp of MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions. 
• Step 2: Fill the sprayer tank with half the amount of water, add the proper amount of product, and then pour in the remaining half of the water. Close the tank lid and agitate until the solution is mixed. 
• Step 3: Ensure complete coverage of all stems and foliage of plants until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Retreat at 1 to 2-week intervals to protect foliage when the weather favors disease development. 

Where to Use

MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide can be used on terrestrial and indoor woody and herbaceous ornamental plants, greenhouse, nursery, and agricultural crops, as well as on turf.

Tolerant turf this product can be applied to is Bentgrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass (Kentucky, annual), Centipedegrass, Fescue (fine, tall, chewings, red), Ryegrass (perennial, annual), St. Augustinegrass, and Zoysiagrass.

When to Use

Start application at the first sign of disease. For best protection, repeat at one to two-week intervals until conditions are no longer favorable for disease development. Shorten the interval during rainy weather or during periods of high relative humidity.

It can be applied up to and including the day of harvest.

MilStop SP Foliar Fungicide is safe for people and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product. 

Keep people and pets out of the treated area until the spray has dried.
