Millennium Ultra 2 Herbicide, manufactured by Nufarm, is a premium post-emergence herbicide that provides exceptional control over hard-to-kill broadleaf weeds including clover, speedwell, ground ivy, and Virginia buttonweed in ornamental lawns, turf grasses, and on sod farms.

The unique formulation of Millennium Ultra 2 contains the active ingredients 2,4-D, clopyralid, and dicamba, providing elimination to deep-rooted perennials such as thistle, goldenrod, artichoke and nettle.

Millennium Ultra 2's specialized formulation ensures targeted elimination of unwanted broadleaf weeds while minimizing harm to desirable vegetation by a selective mode-of-action.

Tools Needed

Most conventional liquid pesticide plant sprayers can be used to apply Millennium Ultra 2 such as a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer.

How to Use

• Step 1: Determine how much Millennium Ultra 2 to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To calculate the surface area of water, measure the length and width in feet and volume of water body (length X width X depth = surface area of water). To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For ornamental lawns, turf, and sod farm applications on warm and cool-season grasses, use.73 to 1.10 ounces per gallon. Limited to two applications per year. 
• Step 2: In a large container, add half of the required amount of water and then add the appropriate amount of Millennium Ultra 2 to the larger container. Fill the container the rest of the way with the remaining half of water. Mix well and then pour into the sprayer tank.
• Step 3: Spray targeted weeds and brush until wet with Millennium Ultra 2. If treating bodies of water that are approved by the product label, only spray areas where targeted weeds are growing.

When to Use

Millennium Ultra 2 should be used as a post-emergent during periods of weed growth and when you notice hardy, stubborn broadleaf weeds.

When treating St. Augustine grass, avoid broadcast applications when air temperature exceeds 80ºF. When air temperatures exceed 80ºF, burnout may occur.

Safety Information

Millennium Ultra 2 is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Do not allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.

Special Considerations

Millennium Ultra 2 is for use on non-residential ornamental turf lawns. Do not apply to residential turf.
