Microthiol Disperss Fungicide
Microthiol Disperss Fungicide
Microthiol Disperss Fungicide is a dependable first-choice fungicide that delivers excellent disease and mite protection of vegetable, fruit, and other field crops.
Microthiol Disperss Fungicide, manufactured by United Phosphorous, is an effective sulfur-based fungicide that delivers consistent disease and some pest control in commercial crops.
This specially designed fungicide contains a patented micronized wettable powder that dissolves rapidly in water and stays in suspension longer helping to reduce mixing and application timing.
Microthiol Disperss Fungicide is an OMRI listed fungicide that ensures consistent spray coverage of crops and surface contact against diseases like rust, powdery mildew, and pests like mites.
Tools Needed
Microthiol Disperss Fungicide can be applied with any type of handheld, knapsack, mechanical or pneumatic spraying equipment. It may also be used with sprinkler irrigation systems.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Microthiol Disperss Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For general applications on turf and grass, use 10 lbs. of Microthiol Disperss Fungicide in 20 gallons of water per acre. For ornamentals, use 3 to 10 lbs. of product in 100 gallons of water. Refer to the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Pour the required amount of Microthiol Disperss Fungicide into the indicated amount of water while stirring. This product disperses instantly.
- Step 3: Spray Microthiol Disperss Fungicide to completley cover the top and bottom of leaves, but not to the point of runoff. Repeat applications every 10-14 days or as needed. Do not water treated areas until 1 to 2 days have passed after application.
Where to Use
Apply Microthiol Disperss Fungicide to listed vegetable crops, fruit and nut crops, field crops, small fruits and berries, ornamentals, roses, spearmint, peppermint, hops, and commericial turf or grass but not limited to golf courses, sod farms, and grass grown for seed.
Do not allow spray to drift onto sulfur-sensitive crops such as apricots, cranberries, spinach and d’Anjou pears.
When to Use
Use Microthiol Disperss Fungicide when mites or diseases first appear on days when the temperature is below 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
Do not use within two weeks of an oil spray treatment, except for Dormant, Delayed Dormant, or Postharvest applications with a suitable oil. For citrus, do not apply within 21 days of an oil spray.
Safety Information
Microthiol Disperss Fungicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow people or pets enter treated areas until 24 hours have passed after application.
Special Considerations
Some crops may be damaged by sulfur under certain climatic conditions, such as when temperature is high. United Phosphorus, Inc. does not recommend application if temperature will exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit within the three days following spraying, due to the risk of crop injury.
