Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait
Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait
Bonanza Fly Bait is a fast-acting, ready-to-Use granular fly bait for the control of house flies. Bonanza fly bait can be used as scatter bait, paint-on(mixed with water), or in bait stations. It has a specifically formulated mixture of attractants in the form of Z-9-Tricosene to attract flies. This fly bait contains Bitrex to deter ingestion by non-target animals, pets and children.
Tools Needed
To use Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait, no tools are required as it can easily be shaken out onto surfaces directly from the container but if you wish you could use a hand spreader.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Bonanza Fly Bait you need by first calculate the square footage of the area you would like to treat. To do this, you will need to measure (in feet) and multiply the area length times the width (length x width = square footage). The use rate for Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait is 1.5 oz. per 250 sq. ft. So for example, if you measured a 1,000 sq. ft. area to treat, you would need 6 oz. of product to cover the area sufficiently.
- Step 2: Begin to scatter the bait directly from the container onto dry surfaces. Alternatively, you can place the granular fly back in a bait station. Input a small amount of bait, around 1.5 oz in each station. Secure them 4 feet above the ground to keep animals, children and pets away from the bait.
- Step 3: Lastly, you can paint the application onto surfaces by mixing a small amount of bait (1.5 oz.) with 1 fl oz of warm water and stir then use a brush to paint where flies rest.
- Step 4: Reapply every 7 days until flies are no longer infesting.
Where to Use
Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait can be applied to control house flies in and Around Areas Such as livestock facilities and stables, warehouses, dumpsters, recycling areas, and Outside Non-Food Contact Areas of restaurants, bakeries, supermarkets, grease pits, or loading docks.
When to Use
Use Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait whenever you are encountering an infestation of flies. Time applications to begin at the start of the season before fly populations reach their peak.
Safety Information
Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait is safe to use around pets and kids. Keep them off of treated surfaces until dry. Martin's Bonanza Fly Bait also contains Bitrex bittering agent to help prevent accidental ingestion by children and pets.
