The Mantis Vega is manufactured by Pest West and is a slim fly light trap for luring and capturing unsuspecting fly infestations. The trap features 3 energy efficient T5, 14-watt Quantum shatter-resistant lamps, and ultra-modern electronic ballasts. The slim design helps it to save on energy, keeping operating costs down. Each Mantis Vega Fly light comes ready to use right out of the box and is very easy to set up and maintain.

The Mantis Vega is ready-to-use right out of the box and requires no tools for setup or when you need to service it.

How to Use

• Step 1: Place the Mantis Vega unit in the desired area where you want to control flies. This unit can be mounted to a wall vertically or horizontally. There is really no standard method to fly light positioning but they do need to be positioned in a way that draws flies away from the sensitive areas such as dining areas and food prep areas rather than towards them.
• Step 2: Plug the Mantis Vega into an electrical outlet and let it go to work.
• Step 3: When glue boards are full or when a light bulb goes out, simply replace them with a fresh new board and bulb.

Where to Use

The Mantis Vega is ideal for use in food preparation areas and a variety of other sensitive areas where flies need to be controlled. The ideal height of a fly light is 6 feet off the ground as this is the typical height most flying insects are flying at. If you place the fly lights any lower you can be simply drawing the flies into food prep areas.

When to Use

Use the Mantis Vega when you are encountering flies in food prep and waste disposal areas which can practically be any time of the year.

Special Considerations

Glue boards should be replaced on the Mantis Vega at least every 90 days and bulbs replaced at least every 9 months.
