Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate
04/01/26
Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate, manufactured by Bonide, is a patented natural copper fungicide concentrate that protects and cures various common diseases on organic gardening sites and turf.
Effective against a wide range of diseases and funguses such as downy mildew and peach leaf curl with its powerful active ingredient Copper Octanoate (Copper Soap) 10.00%.
Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate formulation readily mixes with water to protect various plants from common diseases within 7-10 days of application, including those in the late dormant stage.
Tools Needed
Most conventional liquid pesticide plant sprayers can be used to apply Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate such as a hose-end sprayer, backpack sprayer, or handheld pump sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Mix 0.5 to 2.0 fl. oz. of Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate in a gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. for general applications. Do not apply more than 391 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per year on turf or more than 373 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. of ornamentals. To treat turf, use 1.5 to 6 fl. oz. of product in 2.5 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
- Step 2: Fill your sprayer with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate, then pour in the remaining half of water. Shake the sprayer tank until the solution has been evenly-mixed.
- Step 3: Spray all plant parts thoroughly (top and bottom of plant leaves) with mixed Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate solution until wet, but not to the point of runoff. Repeat applications every 7 to 10 days, but you will need to refer to the product label as reapplication rates vary for vegetable and fruit crops.
Where to Use
Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate can be used on listed vegetables, fruits, nuts, herbs, ornamentals, and turf.
This product can only be used on residential sites.
When to Use
Apply Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate before disease is visible or when disease is first visible on plants.
Do not apply this product when rainfall is expected to occur within 24 hours of application.
Safety Information
Liquid Copper Fungicide Concentrate is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
Do not allow adults, children or pets to enter the treated area until sprays have dried.
