How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Knock Out Ant, Flea, & Tick Killer ll Granules to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). Depending on the pest, apply 1.2 to 4.8 pounds of Knock Out Ant, Flea & Tick Killer ll Granules per 1,000 sq. ft. of lawn. For fire ant mounds, use 1 tablespoon or 3 teaspoons of product for each mound. To treat ornamental flower beds outdoors and for outdoor barrier treatments around the home foundation, apply 1.2 lbs. of product per 500 sq. ft. For home vegetable gardens, use 5 cups (1.2 lbs) of product per 500 sq. ft.
- Step 2: Calibrate the spreader, then load the correct amount of granules.
- Step 3: Spread evenly across the soil in the treatment area. For ant mounds, be sure to spread on the surface without disturbing it. After applying, immediately water the treated area with at least 0.1 to 0.5 inches of water. Repeat application should be limited to no more than once per seven days.
