I battled Phorid flies for months. Have been using multiple light- stick traps. I applied Forid twice and Bio-drain once to all 5 drains in the course of a few days. Gone ! No flies. Excellent products and excellent customer service !

Fruit Fly Control
Have found nothing that really works well to control fruit flies this year, but this product works better than others that I have used. Plan to repurchase in gallon instead of quart size

Not so much
Not sure if this product is effective. It seemed to work with the first bottle, so I ordered another as a back-up. The flies returned the day after the new bottle arrived, so we used it. We're still fighting them, using vinegar, salt and baking soda. And they just keep coming. There must be a stronger, but still septic-safe product out there.

Drains smell better. Sewer flies are gone. Cleaning the hair out of the shower drain was the first step. I will continue to use BioDrain for maintenance.

Bio Drain for pesky drain flies.
I used it 3 times in the effected rarely used tub drain where the drain flies came in. It worked. Haven’t seen any drain flies since. I also gave my kitchen sinks, bathroom sinks, tub and shower a one time treatment. Have plenty left for another round at a later date. Pleasant smelling! No harsh chemicals! Priced reasonable compared to smaller bottles of other like products!

  5. Q:Can you use Bio Drain in a sub pump?
    4/27/18
A:Yes, it won’t hurt the sump pump. However, you should have the drain pipe leading to the pump rodded by a plumber. We had a lot of tree roots, and rodding the drain helped clear the drain flies. Just putting Bio Drain in the sump pump pit won’t take care of the flies.

  8. Q:Bio Drain is so thick that with smaller drain openings, it doesn't actually go down the drain--it just sits in the sink. How do I get it to actually go in the pipes? Should I add a small amount of water?
    9/13/17
A:From what I have read no . i ran hot water in sink before using and while some is still visible in sink it is made thick to actually coat the pipes. I had good results as far as getting rid of drain flies.
