Tools Needed
To apply Imigold 2F Turf and Ornamental Insecticide, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, hose-end sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Imigold 2F Turf and Ornamental Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). For turfgrass and grassy area applications, apply 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz. of Imigold 2F Turf and Ornamental Insecticide in 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. General applications on ornamentals will use the rate of 1.5 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. For flowers and groundcovers, apply 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz. of product in 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. To treat pome fruits in and around residential areas only, apply 1.5 fl. oz. of product per 100 gallons of water. Refer to the label for specific application rate.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Imigold 2F Turf and Ornamental Insecticide, and pour in the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake until the solution is well-mixed
- Step 3: Spray the top and bottom of plant leaves with Imigold 2F Turf and Ornamental Insecticide until wet, but not to the point of runoff. For shrubs, apply as a uniform drench around the base of the foliage. It may be necessary to irrigate after application to move the product into upper soil zone.

When to Use
Apply Imigold 2F Turf and Ornamental Insecticide when the soil is dry and prior to pest activity.
