Imidashot DF Insecticide, manufactured by Agrisel, is a professional water-dispersible granule insecticide that works reliably across many ornamentals, crops, turf, and other settings against 100 and more chewing and sucking pests.

It works as both a contact insecticide (affecting insects that touch treated surfaces) and a systemic insecticide (absorbed by plant tissues and distributed internally), which gives it an advantage in reaching pests inside foliage, soil, or hidden feeding sites. The “DF” stands for Dry Flowable, meaning it comes as a water-dispersible granule that mixes easily with water to create a spray solution. This makes applications smooth and consistent, ensuring precise coverage.

Imidashot DF Insecticide is an effective dual-action systemic and contact insecticide thats well-suited for controlling a broad range of pests across many settings such as turf, ornamentals, groundcovers, poultry houses, and more. So whether you’re fighting grubs, aphids, or whiteflies, or simply want to protect your foliage from future infestations, this product provides the power, flexibility, and reliability to get the job done right.

Tools Needed

A backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, spray rig, airblast sprayer, or overhead chemigation system can be used.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Imidashot DF Insecticide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. Find the square footage by measuring the treatment area's length and width in feet, then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the pest, apply 1.0 to 2.0 tsp. of Imidashot DF Insecticide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. For foliar applications on ornamentals, the minimum use is 0.125 tsp. of product in 2.5 gallons of water. The maximum foliar application on ornamentals will use the rate of 5 tsp. of product in 100 gallons of water. A broadcast application on ornamentals, apply 1.25 to 2.0 level teaspoons of product per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Refer to the product label for specific application rates and restrictions.
  • Step 2: Measure water and fill your spray tank about halfway. Pour in the proper amount of product. Add the rest of the water. Close the tank lid and shake until well-mixed. A spray adjuvant may be used to improve coverage, but add it to the mixture last.
  • Step 3: Ensure thorough coverage of foliage or soil surface without runoff. To control soil pests, lightly irrigate the treated area to incorporate this product into the upper soil after application.
