ImidaPro 2SC
ImidaPro 2SC
ImidaPro 2SC, manufactured by Agrisel, is an effective systemic and foliar insecticide designed to eliminate unwanted soil inhabiting, chewing, and sucking pests within your lawn.
As a systemic, ImidaPro 2SC will move through the foliage to the plant roots of the treated plant so when targeted insects make contact or ingest the plant they will die soon after.
Optimum control and prevention can be achieved with ImidaPro 2SC as it will continuously protect your lawn, ornamentals, flowers, trees, and shrubs against targeted insects. ImidaPro 2SC can easily be applied with various fungicides, miticides, liquid fertilizers, and other insecticides. Not only is it easily compatible with other products, but also with various spray equipment (except irrigation systems) and applications such as soil injection, soil drenching, basal system, and foliar applications.
Tools Needed
To apply ImidaPro 2SC you will to use either a backpack sprayer or handheld sprayer. When applying to small lawn areas, we recommend using the handheld pump sprayer for easier application. ImidaPro 2SC can be used as a soil drench application. Appropriate digging tools, such as a shovel or pickaxe is needed.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much ImidaPro 2SC you will need by first calculating the square footage of the area you wish to treat. To do this, measure in feet and multiply the area length times the width (length X width = square footage). Application method and mix rates will vary depending on your targeted pest and treatment site. For broadcast or spot applications on turf, tree, shrubs, evergreens, flowers, foliage plants, groundcovers, and interior plant apply 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz. of ImidiaPro 2SC per 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Do not apply more than 1.6 pints (0.4 lbs.) of product per acre per year. For a soil drench application on tree shrubs, flowers, and groundcovers around your home or commercial building, apply 0.1 to 0.2 fl. oz. of product (3 to 6 mL) per 1 gallon of water per inch of trunk diameter or shrub height. Apply no less than 10 gallons of water per 1,000 square feet as a drench around the base of the tree, directed to the root zone.
- Step 2: To mix for spray applications, you will fill your selected sprayer half of the way with the appropriate amount of water, add the measured ImidaPro 2SC, then fill the rest of the way with the other half of water. Close the lid and Agitate until spray mixture is evenly mixed. For soil drench applications, create holes within 6 to 12 inches of the base of tress or shrubs at least 2 to 3 feet apart, do not use less than 4 holes. Pour the solution into the holes until evenly applied.
- Step 3: Spray the ImidaPro 2SC mixed solution evenly on areas where treatment is needed. Reapply when needed. Use a fan nozzle spray setting for uniform coverage.
