How much Imidacloprid T&O 2F would we use in a 25 gallon pull behind sprayer for turf.
Bob on May 26, 2017
BEST ANSWER: 1.25 to 1.6 pt/A or 0.46 to 0.6 fl. oz.
(14 to 17 mL) per 1000 sq. ft.

Depends on the pest, but this would be the rate for 1 acre, about 50 gallons of water.
Is it safe around pets?

BEST ANSWER: Yes, Imidacloprid 2F insecticide needs to be allowed to completely dry before you allow them back in the area.
Will this kill and help prevent the Emerald Ash Borer using it as a drench on trees?
A shopper on Jul 7, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Yes it will. I was able to save every Ash tree I have treated, except one - the first one to show signs of Emerald Ash Borer damage was too far gone and I lost it. If your tree has approx. 3/4 of its leaves and most are at the top (canopy), your tree can probably be saved. Treat ASAP if you haven't already done so. I use 0.1 oz. per inch (1 oz. per 10 inches tree circumference) in 2 gallons of water in a watering can and drench the ground immediately around the tree trunk to about 2 ft out from the trunk. Then I re-drench with 2 gals water to soak. Then I water lightly for the next 10 days. You must do this annually. But, it is worth it. I used a different product that contained 1% Imidacloprid for the past 3 years. It worked, but it was very expensive. The product you are asking about is perfect (at 44% concentration) for saving many trees now and well into the future at a very affordable price. I highly recommend it. You should see my Ash trees!
consumer products @ 1.47% recommend 1 ounce per inch of circumference 4 feet above ground for pre-treating mature ash trees against EAB. It states between .1 and .4 ounces per inch in application section above, which is wide variance. Recommendation?

How much per gal do I use for 4ft saplings ?
A shopper on Aug 18, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I used the imidicloprid for crape myrtle bark scale and I followed my county extension agents advice. Always reach out to people who know. This chemical is absorbed up through the plants root system so u must consider plants near the saplings too.
Can you use in drip irrigation system?
A shopper on Aug 1, 2018
BEST ANSWER: I would not recommend it if the vegetation you are growing is intended for human, animal or bee consumption. This is a systemic insecticide.
Will this get rid of aphids & mites on pecan trees? If so do you treat the ground or spray the tree & when is best time to spray?
Janice O on Apr 4, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The Imidacloprid 2F will provide control of the Aphids on the Pecan tree but not the mites. For the best control make sure to apply a thorough uniformed foliar application. A second application can be made in 10 days if the aphids are still present.

can i buy imacloprid that is clear in color> colorless?
Michele on Nov 23, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Hi Michelle, Imidacloprid is colorless when mixed with water at the labelled rates. In the concentrate form it will be a milky white since it is a suspended concentrate meaning there are little particles suspended in water and surfactants.
Thanks for your recommended dosage rate for imidachloprid for trees. I'll use 0.25 oz per inch of diameter of trees. I'll treat about 100 trees that average about 6" diameter. How many gallons of water would you recommend per tree?
Thanks.
Rich on May 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Soil Drench: Uniformly apply the dosage in no less than 10 gallons of water per 1000 square feet as a drench
around the base of the tree, directed to the root zone. Remove plastic or any other barrier that will stop solution
from reaching the root zone.
