The Hypro 5210c Piston Pump Repair Kit is manufactured by Hypro and is an essential set for repairing problems associated with reduced pressure, or leaks from the front of the pump. Your pump may need to be rebuilt if performance begins to decline and this kit contains all the necessary components for a successful repair that will have your Piston Pump working like new again.
This kit includes the following:
2 x Piston Cap Screws (2220-0013)
2 x Washers (2270-0012)
2 x O-Rings (1720-0030)
2 x Leather Cups (2150-0001)
2 x O-Rings (1720-0065)
2 x Seal Rings (1440-0012)
Tools Needed
To use this kit, you will need the appropriate tools such as a wire brush, 9/16" socket, a socket wrench, screwdriver, allen wrench, sleeve extractor and more (check owner's manual for details).
How to Use
- Step 1: Disassemble the Piston Pump with the help of a 1/4" Allen wrench. During disassembly, you should also use a wire brush to clean all valve cavities, sleeve cavities and ports. Wash the pump body out with solvent and let it dry.
- Step 2: Remove the old parts and replace with the new replacement parts from the kit. (Get detailed directions in the Hypro Piston Pump repair manual).
- Step 3: Reassemble your piston pump and test it out to ensure it is working properly.
Where to Use
The Hypro 5210c Piston Pump Repair Kit is meant to be used only for replacement on a Hypro 5210c Piston Pump with the Extenda Ban Valve feature.
When to Use
Use the Hypro 5210c Piston Pump Repair Kit when your Hypro 5210c Piston Pump has been damaged or you are experiencing a dip in spray pressure quality. How often this parts need changing depends on how often you use your spraying rig. If it is heavily used, the part wears and tears quicker. If the pump has had as much as 500 hours of use, it is suggested to replace the assembly.
