Tools Needed
Hi-Yield Vegetable, Flower, Fruit & Ornamental Fungicide can be applied with a power sprayer such as backpack sprayer, handheld pump sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Hi-Yield Vegetable, Flower, Fruit & Ornamental Fungicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). Depending on the crop the application rate will vary so it would be best to refer to the product label. To treat beans (snap), apply 8 tsp. of Hi-Yield Vegetable, Flower, Fruit & Ornamental Fungicide per 1 gallon of water per 200 sq. ft. For fruit and nut tree diseases on crops like blue berries, use 9 tsp. of product per 4 gallons of water per 200 sq. ft. For ornamental garden plants, apply either 6 teaspoons per gallon of water or 8 tablespoons of product in 4 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. of garden area. Do not apply more than a total of 96 fl. oz. of product per 1,000 sq. ft. per growing season on field-grown ornamentals. Do not apply more than the specified amount of product per 200 sq. ft. of garden area per year for each crop type.
- Step 2: Mix Hi-Yield Vegetable, Flower, Fruit & Ornamental Fungicide with water by first filling the tank with half the amount of water. Then add the measured amount of product and the remaining half of water. Close the spray tank lid and shake well until the solution is mixed.
- Step 3: Make the applications of the mixed Hi-Yield Vegetable, Flower, Fruit & Ornamental Fungicide to the entire plant and tree canopy, including the undersides of leaves, to the point of spray runoff. If weather conditions favor disease, make a second application as instructed next to the crop per the product label.
