Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+, manufactured by VPG, is a substantial non-selective herbicide containing a double surfactant formulation to easily penetrate and remove a broad-spectrum of weeds in residential areas, ornamental nurseries, and other non-agricultural sites.

This suspended concentrate travels systemically throughout unwanted foliage from the leaves all the way to its root for complete elimination. At relatively low concentration rates, this product provides visible signs of weed death within 2 to 4 days.

Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ is a multi-use post-emergent herbicide that works great against emerged weeds and does not remain in soil, resulting in better reseeding rates.

Tools Needed

To use Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+, you will need to use a handheld pump sprayer. You may also use a fixed wing or helicopter, ground broadcast spray equipment, or aerial or ground injection sprayers.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). To eliminate annual weeds under 6 inches with a handheld pump sprayer use a 0.5 percent solution or annual weeds over 6 inches tall apply a 1 percent solution. For a 0.5 percent solution, mix 2/3 oz. of Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ with 1 gallon of water. For a 1 percent solution, mix 1 1/3 oz. of product with 1 gallon of water. To remove harder-to-control perennial weeds, use a 2 percent solution by mixing 2 2/3 oz. of product with 1 gallon of water. When using other types of application methods which result in less than complete coverage, use a 5 percent solution for annual and perennial weeds and a 5 to 10 percent solution for woody brush and trees. For a 5 percent solution, use 6 1/2 oz. of product with 1 gallon of water. For a 10 percent solution, mix 13 oz. of product with 1 gallon of water.
  • Step 2: Fill the mixing or spray tank with the required amount of water. Add the specified amount of Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ then mix it well until dissolved. If the spray mixture is allowed to settle, thorough agitation is required to resuspend the mixture before spraying is resumed.
  • Step 3: When using the mixture of Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ adjust the sprayer to deliver a uniform coverage to the top and bottom of weed leaves. Do not spray to the point of runoff. For some spray patterns, reduce the boom length for aerial application equipment to less than 3/4 of the wingspan or rotor length.

Where to Use

Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ can be applied to weeds within alfalfa, clover, other forage legumes, asparagus, cereal crops, Christmas trees, citrus crops, conservation reserve program (CRP), corn, cotton, fallow systems, grain sorghum (Milo), grass seed production, pastures, peanuts, peppermint and spearmint, small fruits and berries, soybeans, sugarcane, sunflowers, tree, nut, and vine (general), tree fruits, tree nuts, tropical crops, vegetable crops, vine crops, Roundup ready crops, Roundup ready flex corn, forestry site preparation, and farmsteads.

This product may also be applied to non-agricultural and industrial sites: use in airports, apartment complexes, Christmas tree farms, ditch banks, dry ditches, dry canals, fencerows, golf courses, industrial sites, lumber yards, manufacturing sites, office complexes, ornamental nurseries, parks, parking areas, petroleum tank farms and pumping installations, railroads, recreational areas, residential areas, roadsides, sod or turf seed farms, schools, storage areas, utility substations, warehouse areas, and other public areas.

When to Use

Apply Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ when weeds are above or below 6 inches in height. Make applications on calm, warm days when rainfall is not expected to occur within 24 hours of application.

Safety Information

Hi-Yield Super Concentrate Killzall 4+ is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.

Keep people and pets off treated areas until spray solution has dried to prevent transfer of this product onto desirable vegetation.

Special Considerations
