Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker
Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker
Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker, manufactured by VPG, is a water soluble non-ionic spray surfactant that makes liquid products stick better to the surface of lawns, crops, and ornamental plants.
With its active ingredient Alcohol ethoxylate, alkylphenol ethoxylate 90.0%, it helps to move chemicals through foliage more easily as well as increasing most herbicide, acaricides, defoliants, desiccants and wettable powders effects. Thus, you help to lessen the amount of pesticide or herbicide products used which helps to reduce the amount of products purchased.
Tools Needed
To use Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker you will need a select pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, or liquid fertilizer to mix with in a handheld sprayer, backpack sprayer, or professional skid sprayer.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker to use by identifying the formulation of the selected product such as if it is a herbicide or wettable powder. Read the label on your selected product as rates can vary based on the treatment, location, and targeted pest. Use 1 to 2 teaspoons of Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker per 1 gallon of mix for insecticide, fungicides, herbicide, acaricides, defoliants, desiccants, and wettable powders.
- Step 2: For wettable powders and water-soluble materials, add Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker in water before adding pesticide to spray tank. For emulsifiable products, add this product after a good emulsion is formed.
- Step 3: If you are using a backpack or handheld pump sprayer, you will want to apply the appropriate amount of Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker to your pesticide or herbicide solution. Once the product and selected herbicide or pesticide has been added to the sprayer you can then agitate it until the solution is evenly mixed.
- Step 4: Depending on the product you are mixing with Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker will determine how to apply the treatment to your target area.
Where to Use
Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker can be used on crops, lawns, and ornamentals.
When to Use
Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker is ideal to use when a pesticide, herbicide, fungicide, or liquid fertilizer requires or recommends using a non-ionic surfactant to enhance the products effectiveness and distribution.
Safety Information
Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker is safe to use around children or pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing or applying Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker.
Special Considerations
If applied alone, Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker will not produce any results within weeds or other diseases. This product must be mixed with other pesticide, herbicide, or compatible products for visible results with targeted foliage.

Q:Can spreak sticker be used on aquatic plants without harming fish?10/16/22A:Though not specifically stated, it does warn on Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker label "Do not contaminate water sources by cleaning of equipment or disposal of washwater". For this reason, it would be best not to use it for aquatic plants. Alligare 90 Surfactant Wetting Agent is also a is a non-ionic surfactant like Hi-Yield Spreader Sticker with the exception that it can be used for herbicides on surface and submerged aquatic foliage. https://www.solutionsstores.com/alligare-90-wetting-agent

Q:Good morning and thank you for your assistance. Can this product be used in a gallon sprayer by itself with water before you apply a granular fungicide on the lawn to assist with absorption ? I usually wet the lawn prior to the granular fungicide application and I did not know if mixing the water with this product ahead of the fungicide makes any sense, thanks Bill.8/25/21
