Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide is a versatile pre-emergent herbicide that offers season-long control of more than 90 broadleaf weeds.
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide, manufactured by DOW/CORTEVA, is a unique pre-emergent herbicide that frees ornamentals, groundcovers, and non-cropland from future weed activity for up to 8 months. It has been tested on hundreds of ornamental plants and grasses and can be applied on or around more than 700 ornamentals.
Designed with the active ingredient isoxaben 45.45%, which controls and suppresses more than 95 different species of broadleaf weeds like marestail, clover, and pigweed.
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide is an effective suspended concentrate herbicide that allows professionals to increase buisness with minimum labor and ensures better plant safety due its plant tolerance.
Tools Needed
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). General applications will use 0.7 fl. oz. of Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide per gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. or 31 fl. oz. of product per 10 gallons of water per acre. Refer the label for specific application rates.
- Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the tank lid and shake until mixed.
- Step 3: Spray the Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide over the treatment area until evenly covered, but not to the point of runoff.
Where to Use
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide can be used for established turfgrass, landscape ornamentals, container grown ornamentals, field grown ornamentals, groundcovers/perennials, non-croplands, ornamental bulbs, and Christmas trees/conifer plantations.
When to Use
Gallery should be applied prior to emergence of target weeds. A fall application of Gallery will prevent winter-, fall- and many of the spring-germinating weeds. Use Gallery as a preemergence treatment for control of certain broadleaf weeds on all labeled use sites.
Safety Information
Gallery SC Specialty Herbicide is safe to use around children and pets when applied according to the product label instructions. Always wear the proper personal protective equipment (PPE) when mixing and applying this product.
