Gallery 75 DF Herbicide, manufactured by DOW/CORTEVA, is a effective pre-emergent herbicide that minimizes hand-weeding and helps professionals avoid costly post-emergent applications later on within turf and ornamentals.

Features the active ingredient isoxaben 75%, which targets weeds germinating in the soil for up to 4-8 months to keep desired plants free of weeds such as lawn burweed, fleabane, and London rocket.

Gallery 75 DF Herbicide prevents the hassle of consistent reapplications, costly hand-weeding, and low solubitility in water so it won't move out of treatment zone easily.

Tools Needed

Gallery 75 DF Herbicide can be applied with a handheld pump sprayer, backpack sprayer, or spray rig.

How to Use

  • Step 1: Determine how much Gallery 75 DF Herbicide to use by measuring the square footage of the treatment area. To do this, measure the length and width of the treatment area in feet then multiply them together (length X width = square footage). For acreage, take the square footage and divide it by one acre (square footage / 43,560 sq. ft. = acres). General applications will use 0.25 oz to 7 grams of Gallery 75 DF Herbicide per 1 gallon of water per 1,000 sq. ft. or 1.33 lbs. of product per 10 gallons of water per acre. Refer the label for specific application rate.
  • Step 2: Fill the spray tank with half the amount of water, add measured amount of Gallery 75 DF Herbicide, then pour in the remaining half of water. Close the sprayer tank and shake until the solution is well-mixed.
  • Step 3: Spray the Gallery 75 DF Herbicide to the soil surface evenly, but not to the point of runoff.

Where to Use

Gallery 75 DF Herbicide can be used for established turfgrass, landscape ornamentals, container grown ornamentals, field grown ornamentals, groundcovers/perennials, non-cropland, ornamental bulbs, non-bearing fruit and nut trees and non-bearing vineyards, and Christmas trees/conifer plantations.

When to Use

Apply Gallery 75 DF Herbicide before weeds emerge and when plants are well-established.
