Fyfanon ULV Insecticide
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide, manufactured by FMC, is a ULV concentrate that delivers both knock-down and residual control of piercing, sucking and chewing insects.
This easy to use product can be used on a variety of crops but has primarily been used to protect corn, cereal and cotton.
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide is a flexible product that can be used to provide season-long control of crop damaging pest and is a solid option to combat pesticide resistance.
Tools Needed
To use Fyfanon ULV Insecticide, you will need a compatible ULV Fogger or mist blower. The fogger can be handheld or mounted on a service vehicle.
How to Use
- Step 1: Determine how much Fyfanon you will need by measuring the acreage of the crop site. The application rate can vary depending on the pest to control and the crop. The typical rate range between 4 to 16 fl. oz. per acre.
- Step 2: Pour the appropriate amount of Fyfanon ULV solution undiluted into the fogger tank and set the particle size range.
- Step 3: Apply Fyfanon ULV around desired areas at ground level or from the air.
Where to Use
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide can be applied outdoors by air or ground equipment on rangeland, pasture, and other uncultivated non-agricultural areas (wastelands, roadsides), non-agricultural (right-of-ways, fencerows, uncultivated areas/soils), and crops (alfalfa, barley, beans (dry, snap, lima), blueberry (high bush, low bush), cherries (sweet, tart), clover, corn field, corn (sweet, pop), cotton, Bermuda grass, oats, pasture, rangeland, rice, rice wild, rye, sorghum, wheat (spring, winter)).
When to Use
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide should be applied on calm days when the weather conditions do not favor drift. Do not apply when wind velocity is more than 15 mph. Apply at first sign of crop damage or when pests first appear. When spraying mosquitoes, apply during the peak of mosquito activity.
Safety Information
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide is safe to use around humans, pets, and wildlife when used according to the product label. Wear the proper personal protective equipment when handling and applying the product (chemical resistant gloves, long-sleeved clothing, shoes and socks).
Special Considerations
Fyfanon ULV Insecticide can be mixed with a synergized pyrethrin to improve knockdown effectiveness and longer residual control.
Undiluted spray droplets of Fyfanon ULV Insecticide will permanently damage automobile paints. Cars should not be sprayed.
