Formitrol Ant Bait Gel

Formitrol Ant Bait Gel, manufactured by Zoecon, is a professional, ready-to-use ant gel bait with a unique combination of Dinotefuran for adult ants and an IGR to control the next generation of ants. 

The attractiveness of the sweet and protein formulation of the bait is known to attract various species of ants like the thief ant, odorous house ant, and other nuisance ants. Unlike other surface spray pesticides, the Formitrol Ant Bait Gel targets the entire colony when the foraging ants bring it back to the colony. 

Formitrol Ant Bait Gel is an effective sweet and protein combination bait that controls a broad range of ants around commercial, residential, and industrial sites.

No tools are needed as this bait comes ready to use. 

How to Use

• Step 1: Secure all secondary food sources within plastic containers with tight-fitted lids. Remove trash and ensure the lids are closed. Clean up any food residue with warm water only. 
• Step 2: To use Formitrol Ant Bait Gel, remove one syringe of bait from the container. Remove the cap from the tip of the syringe. Place the applicator plunger into the end of the syringe, push plunger down to dispense desired amount of bait. 
• Step 3: Apply bait in spots or strips of bait near actively foraging ants, mound entrances, or nest sites. Make numerous bait placements near foraging ants. Each spot should be at least 0.0035 oz. Strips should be 1-2 inches long. Bait may be placed into voids, cracks, and crevices where ants are observed or suspected. The total bait applied will depend on the severity of the infestation. Bait can be applied to vertical or horizontal surfaces. However bait placements on vertical surfaces may run. Apply bait directly onto surfaces or in a suitable bait station.

Formitrol Ant Bait Gel can be used indoors and outdoors in commercial, residential, and industrial areas. 

Indoor locations include but are not limited to cafeterias, commercial and industrial buildings, commercial kitchens, daycare facilities, food or feed establishments, garages, garbage rooms, government buildings, hospitals, hotels, housing complexes, kitchens, laboratories, lavatories, libraries, locker rooms, motels, nursing and assisted living, facilities, office buildings, pantries, residential buildings, retail establishments, schools, single and multi-family residences, supermarkets, transportation equipment such as aircraft, trains, ships, boats, buses and other similar sites, vestibules, warehouses, wall voids, attics, and crawl spaces.

Outdoor locations include but are not limited to, decks, gardens, lawns, patios, landscaped or hardscaped areas, yards, and zoos. Inspections around the outside of structures may reveal entry points; remove these points when possible. 

When to Use

Use this bait when ant activity has been noticed.
